Boss. I thought this was a competition.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 11:59 |

Did you even look at the rest of them?
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:01 |

Boss 302. C'mon dude at least make this a challenge.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:03 |

Now why? Did you even read the bottom? Also the Cobra is still an awesome choice. Cause of the Street Cred lol.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:10 |

Cobra, there is nothing Boss about that disgusting red pony.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:10 |

Don't need to.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:13 |

There are other BOSS's out there that arnt as bad for that price thats just the closest to me.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:13 |

You should.

Awesome, nearly new, Mustang Boss.
Gross, blob-eyed, high-mileage, Porsche.
Street racer bro, everyone and their mother has a fake, Mustang Cobra.
I think the choice is obvious.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:16 |

Thats a real cobra, The Porsche can be made to be a good car even with the miles, and the BOSS had red valve covers....bot the blue it was born with.....
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:19 |

High revving American V8, a much nicer interior w/better options; I wasn't going to beat the reliability drum, but if you want something fast to drive all the time and make a great sound, the Boss will probably tick all of the boxes.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:20 |
|
The problem with the Cobra is that you'll have to tell people it isn't a fake. The Porsche, yeah, it can be reliable, if you thousands and thousands of dollars in to it. And the valve covers on the Boss can be fixed in about 3 hours with a couple blue wrinkle rattle cans from AutoZone, or powdercoat if you want to do it the right way.

I have been comping the BOSS and the Cobra. Really cause of the way the engine is made the Cobra rigth out of the box makes the best noise. My Coyote GT just doesnt make enough Noise.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:21 |

I'll just buy new ones they ate $50. Also you will know its a real Cobra when you start it up and hear the blower whine.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:23 |
|
I think the Boss 302 would make enough noise for any of us.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:24 |
|
$50? Wow, you could actually profit if you sold the red ones to someone who wanted them!
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:24 |

I'd still go with the SVT. It's just a cooler car to me. Terminator > Boss
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:24 |

I have been near BOSS's at shows and unless they have aftermarket mufflers and baffles removed they are quiet.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:25 |
|
Ya I really could.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:25 |
|
Ya the Cobra sounds so good.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:26 |
|
And it looks better on fat tires.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 12:30 |

So, pay a premium for the '12 BOSS and get a big 'ol engine and taxicab interior, go with the cheap Porsche that is pretty much guaranteed to be the only 911 in history that doesn't appreciate in value, get the middling SVT that is exactly like the BOSS only a decade older and slower, or roll the dice and get a cheap V10 BMW that will need a 2nd mortgage for maintenance?
I think I'll walk.

Hmm, ok, well an exhaust system or lack thereof for a Mustang V8, really is probably one of the cheapest possible mods. I do not care for the Cobra, only the Cobra R gets respect from me because of the ridiculous level of "racecar" Ford went to when building it. The 911 is a NP, but not worth the trouble IMHO, everything else on the list is faster. However, as the old adage goes "If you are looking for a 911, you will only ever end up with a 911." The M6 is a HIDEOUS car IMHO. It is truly goffing to look at, uglier to me than a base model Panamera. The motor would be worth it ONLY if the car was an 09 or 2010 as many of the teething issues that the E60 had were worked out towards the end of the Bangle years.

GT500 axlebacks, Boss side pipes with the plates removed and a resonator delete. Same exhaust set up on my dad's car and it's plenty loud! Louder then mine. Well from the outside at least.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 13:09 |

Where are the resonators on a 5.0L Coyote?
![]() 01/27/2015 at 13:13 |

I feel like that Cobra is a little overpriced, I couldn't see myself wanting to pay more then 20-21K. But wow, that's a clean Cobra. Looks stock to, which is rare now a days.
But forget the Cobra, The Boss is awesome. Not to mention it makes 54 more horsepower N/A. And will handle better. And ride better. And have better quality. And it's a Boss.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 13:13 |

Ya but Fat tires and Bassani mean sounds.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 14:21 |
|
Also can you got a video of it?
![]() 01/27/2015 at 15:26 |

Between the mid pipe and muffler. You'll know it when you see it. It sticks out.
And funny thing about the video. I took one a little while ago and it came out really good. But my phone freaked out and didn't save it. So I'll have to work on getting another.
![]() 01/27/2015 at 15:30 |

or you just forgot to record one ;P
![]() 01/27/2015 at 16:43 |

Nope! My dad got home and wanted me to take a video of the exhaust. So when I was done I hit end and the phone froze up. Didn't save my video unfortunately. Oh well, at least I fixed that problem!
